Senior Systems Administrator, Author, and IT Career Mentor.
Welcome to my professional website. My name is Christopher James Jordan, and I'm located in western Massachusetts but grew up in the small state of Rhode Island. I've been in the IT industry for about 20 years, starting in high school working on a help desk and working my way up to Sr. Systems Administrator.
I always strive to help others with IT career building as well. I wrote the book, *What it Takes to be an IT Administrator*, to show how to navigate the IT administration world. You can check it out on Amazon in eBook or print formats.
In my free time, I love traveling and have visited many places around the world. I enjoy trying new things and spending time with friends and family. I'm also a history buff and enjoy reading about current events. I am married to my lovely wife, Liz, and we have a Golden Retriever named Annie.

"Chris has been a fantastic resource. He is extremely knowledgeable, and knows how to translate technical concepts into sentences for non-technical people. (Given that I was usually asking him to answer questions for the RFP process, this was a very important skill!) I would welcome the opportunity to work with him in the future."
